The Hudson Society of Artists is pleased to announce its 31st Annual ART ON THE GREEN. This year's show will be held outdoors on the South Green of beautiful historic Hudson, Ohio located at the Corner of Rt. 91 and Ravenna Road just south of Rt. 303.
You have been invited to submit images of your work for consideration. Please complete the online registration form below on or before May 1st, 2010.. Entries submitted after the cut-off date will not be accepted.
Entries will be judged by a screening committee. Your uploaded images must be representative of all work you plan to offer for sale at the Show. After your entry has been accepted to the show, you will be contacted to submit your $150 entry fee.
ELIGIBILITY: All work must be original and the work of the exhibitor. Molds, craft kits, etc. from commercially produced products will not be accepted. No buy/sell work items will be permitted. Artist must be present with his/her work for the duration of the show.
SPACES: A space of approx. 12’ front x 15' deep will be assigned and reserved for exhibiting artists at the cost of $150. Exhibitors must supply their own booth furnishings and are responsible for maintaining and cleaning up their area after the show. All tents must be certified flame resistant by the manufacturer.
SECURITY: You may leave your display unit overnight (not your art work). There will be an all night security guard to protect them. You can set up your booth Friday, the 27th after 12:00 if you choose. HSA will not be responsible for any loss or damage but will take every precaution to secure the area.
AWARDS JUROR: Paul St. Denis, AWS-DF, NWS and OWS. Faculty Emeritus Cleveland Institute of Art, Ptg. Major and Sculpture Minor, also former Director of the Summer Program at Interlochen Festival of the Arts and Elderhostel Instructor. Currently teaches part-time at Lorain Community College and Bay Arts. Many awards including, first prize in the NWS Annual Exhibit, Bronze in the AWS Annual Exhibit and three gold medals in the OWS Exhibits. His work can be seen in many publications and magazine articles. Collections include; Museums, corporate and private collections. Cash and ribbon prizes will be awarded by the Hudson Society of Artists.
IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS: This year's show requires all applicant's to submit 4 digital images of their work, plus one digital image of their booth/tent area in order to be considered for the show.
